A hoard of bronze objects discovered in Western Poland

A family during a stroll through the fields discovered a hoard of bronze objects dated to the period between 12th-8th centuries BC. Notified heritage archaeologists secured a group of artefacts among which 5 bronze vessels, 6 bronze wheels and other pieces of a cult wagon and 24 rivets were identified.

The finds are probably connected with the people of the Bronze Age Lusatian culture, their religious rituals and belief system. The objects are currently under conservation and restoration.
