Six Celtic coins found in Southern Poland

A man looking for deer antlers made an accidental discovery of six Celtic coins near Pikulice is Southeastern Poland. The discovery was made in February but only recently revealed. The coins were found near the entrance to an animal’s borrow which had to dig it out. The man called the local Heritage Office which sent out archaeologists to investigate. Two more Medieval coins were found with the use of a metal detector. The coins are to be put on display in the Muzeum Narodowe Ziemi Przemyskiej in Przemyśl.
