The artefacts, secured by Greek Police officers, are mostly ancient coins, gold jewellery, bronze figurines, glassware, and stone and marble statues. The oldest objects date to 6th century BC. The artefacts were prepared to be sold to auction houses and private buyers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Moreover, fake provenance documents, metal detectors, guns, counterfeit license plates, and currency such as Euros, U.S. dollars, and Kuwaiti dinars were also secured.
