Recent Baltic storm unearths remains of a 19th century ship

Heavy winds and stormy weather caused the sea to reveal a wreckage of a 19th century ship. The wooden remains are 27 long and resurfaced on the shores near Międzywodzie, Wolin island, north-western Poland.

The stormy weather at the southern shore of the Baltic Sea caused the sands to shift and a wreckage was unearthed in the coastal area of Międzywodzie. The recent storm not only revealed the ship but also pushed it few dozen metres along the coast, leaving a trail of wood and iron bolts.

The ship measures over 27 metres in length and was probably built in 19th century out of oak wood. This is yet another case when a wreckage is revealed at Polish baltiC Sea coast this year.
