New finds at ancient Megarsus

Excavations at the ancient city of Magarsus, Adana province, south Turkey, unearthed an ancient theatre. The site was a religious centre of Mallus, one of the most important cities of the ancient Cilicia civilization, famous for its ancient temples.

Ancient doctor's office found on Cyprus

Polish archaeologists, who excavated the ancient city of Nea Paphos on Cyprus, discovered the remains of a possible doctor’s office within a destroyed portico. The excavated area yielded bronze and iron surgical tools that are believed to be 2000 years old.
