Workers discovered and restored a 160 year old well in the Memar Mosque in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the historic gateway to to Mecca.
The discovered well is said to have been supplying the Memar Mosque, oldest mosque in Jeddah, with water. The well is located five meters from the eastern side of mosque and was initially believed to be part of the building’s foundation.
