School construction unearths 1500-year-old skeleton

Construction workers building the Drake Primary School in Thetford, Norfolk, England, discovered a skeleton in a burial that is believed to date 1500 years back.

According to the experts, the skeleton can be dated from between the fifth and seventh centuries. The discovery led to an excavation that revealed a well-preserved skeleton of an adult male who had been buried on a north-south alignment. The find was removed from the school grounds before the children became aware of it
