Exhumation of WW2 German soldiers buried by the church in Końskie, central Poland, revealed remains of the deceased, pieces of clothes, and person belongings of the soldiers.
Among the finds are personal military tags of the soldiers that allow for identification of buried individuals. Archaeologists, conducting the excavation with help of sappers, managed to uncover also an intact glass bottle sealed with a silver drinking glass. The bottle, what is intriguing, is filled with a transparent liquid. The excavations are scheduled to end next week.
