The guns were hidden in a metal box stashed behind a contemporary inner wall of the building. The box was corroded and wrapped around with wire. Inside two guns were hidden wrapped in an oiled rag. The larger of the guns is a 9mm Walther P.38 and the smaller a 6,35 mm Liliput model 1926 – both German. Police were informed and secured the find within hours. The house was in the family’s possession since 1991 and at present it is not known who owned the farmstead during World War II.
