The discovery was made when three samples from the site were tested, including soil, bones and charcoal. The bone samples are yet to be tested, but the archaeologists involved in the excavation say they may belong to blue bull (nilgai) or breeds of cattle, including buffalo. Archaeologists found burnt bones at the site, indicating the Harappan people were not vegetarian. Charcoal samples were sent for testing and radiocarbon dating.
