Remains of a 14th century wall were uncovered by construction workers conducting a dig in the Prądnik district of Kraków, South Poland.
Construction workers were conducting a dig at the Basztowa street when they stumbled upon remains of a wall. Experts called to the site secured the find and initially dated it to the period between 14th-15th centuries AD. It is believed that the discovered remains once constituted a part of the bridgehead leading to the fortified barbican of Cracow’s Old Town.
