Police officers were alarmed that an air bomb was brought home by kids who found the object in a field near Szopinek, near Zamość, South-East Poland.
The officers were informed that a large piece of unexploded ordnance was brought from a nearby field to the garden of a house. It turned out that it was a 3-kilogram air bomb from World War 2. It was brought home by children after being found in ploughed out earth. Police officers secured the find and called in a sapper unit who took the bomb and neutralised it at a secure location.
