Bronze Buddha triad discovered by ancient pagoda temple | ArchaeoFeed
A gilt-bronze Buddha triad was excavated around Jinjeon Temple’s Three-story Stone Pagoda in Yangyang, Gangwon, South Korea. The artefact dates to the Three Kingdoms Period (57 BC-668 AD). The Buddha triad measures 8.7 centimetres in height. It features the bodhisattva known as Avalokitesvara in the centre, with two Hyupsi bodhisattvas on his left and right.
