The objects were discovered during a routine check of a coach bus that was entering Poland. In one of the luggage the officers found unusual objects that were believed to be of historic value. The items were being brought into the country by a Polish citizen who stated that he bought some of them at a market in Lviv and some were auctioned in the Internet. He also stated that he did not known that such items needed to be declared while crossing the border. According to Customs officials, bringing such items into the country does not need any special permissions but they need to be declared in order to be evaluated by the Customs officers.
