Construction workers discovered a gun and corresponding ammunition during construction works in a tenement house in Łódź, Central Poland.

The objects were discovered by a construction worker during renovation works of an uninhabited building at Rejtan Street. The Police was called in immediately. Officers secured the gun and 25 bullets that were found beside it. The weapon is rusty and believed to date back to World War 2. The objects have been secured for further investigation.
