Archaeologists discovered a large Gallo-Roman villa with thermal baths in Langrolay-sur-Rance, north-western France. The villa is said to be preserved in exceptional condition.
Unusual burials were discovered by a joint team of Polish and Georgian archaeologists that conducted excavations on the Beshtasheni burial site, south-eastern Georgia. This season over 16 graves were excavated, dating back to Late Bronze and Early Iron Age.
Metal detectorist from the United Kingdom has recently discovered a brooch, dated to 1800 BC. The artefact is made of copper and contains the letters “RMA” engraved in its shape.
