Accidental discovery of a Prehistoric pot included numerous artefacts dating back to the Bronze Age. After the discovery amateur treasure hunters the findings to the local heritage office.

A hidden deposit made by Germans living in Lubomierz, south-western Poland, during World War II was discovered after the relatives of the people that have hidden the objects came to seek them. The Germans asking for shovels brought the attention of the Polish Police which notified the heritage officials.

Construction works at the Sarny palace, south-western Poland, revealed a time capsule. The container was hidden within the bronze sphere on top of the palace’s tower.

Unknown individual leaves prehistoric vessels at museum

An unknown person delivered a bag containing a set of prehistoric vessels to Centrum Nauki i Sztuki Stara Kopalnia (Science and Art Centre Old Mine) in Wałbrzych, South-western Poland. The experts say that the pottery is 2700 years old and was created by the people of the Lusatian Culture.

A discovery indicating the presence of a pottery workshop was made by archaeologists in Złotoryja (South-western Poland) after construction workers found a layer of pottery shards while laying new pipelines.
