Ancient Roman coin found in Orkney

Archaeologists discovered a copper alloy Roman coin at the site of Knowe of Swandro, Rousay, Scotland. The site is known for its Neolithic chambered tomb, Iron Age roundhouses and Pictish buildings.

Rare Roman bronze wing discovered

Excavations near the ancient Roman city wall of Gloucester, United Kingdom, revealed a rare artefact from the Roman Age. It’s a small bronze wing that came from a winged statuette.
