Buddha statue uncovered at Angkor Wat
Archaeologists unearthed a sandstone statue of Buddha in the Angkor Archaeological Park, Cambodia. The statue measures nearly 2 metres in height and weights around 200 kilograms.
Intact Angkorian-era iron smelter found
Archaeologists conducting excavations in the Preah Vihear province near Phnom Dek mountain in Cambodia believe to have discovered the first Angkorian-era iron smelter ever to be found intact.
