Researchers have reconstructed the face of a 18-year-old girl living 7000 years ago whose remains were found in 1993 at Theopetra cave, near the city of Trikala, Central Greece.

Ornamented antler found in Gołębiewo, central Poland, subjected to DNA and stable isotope analyses, revealed its origin as coming from between northern Scandinavia and north-western Russia, indicating it might have travelled from North Karelia to Central Poland during Mesolithic Era.

A ritual wooden spear was found by archaeologists in Bolków near Lake Świdwie, north-western Poland. The ornamented artefact is believed to be 9000 years old.
