Half of a human jaw bone with gold teeth was found by a metal detectorist near Edwards Crossing, a historic toll bridge used to cross the Yuba River, Nevada, United States of America.
The jaw bone with two golden teeth intact were turned by the discoverer to the local Nevada County Sheriff. The remains are now undergoing forensic analysis by anthropologists. The analysis might determine the age, DNA and enable cross-referencing with dental records.
