Oldest bone tools found in China

Archaeologists from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Université de Bordeaux presented the results of analysis of  17 bone tools recovered the Palaeolithic site of Ma’anshan Cave, Guizhou Province (Southern China).

Roman tavern unearthed in France

Archaeologists found a restaurant-like structure roughly 2100 years old, making it one of the earliest such taverns in the western Mediterranean. The excavations took place in the ancient town of Lattara, Southern France.
